​This training explains the financial coding structure, the importance of financial coding and the responsibilities for accurate financial coding. Examples and exercises are used for better understanding and knowledge check.

Objectives
​The purpose of this training is to inform SSC personnel of the purpose and structure of the financial coding block used in the department, improve the accuracy and timeliness of information in SIGMA, and ensure that financial information is available to support decision making in the department and across government.

Target Audience
​All SSC employees who wish to have a better understanding of the departmental financial coding.
