This training provides a refresher on the delegation of authorities as well as an overview of the SSC Delegation of Financial Signing Authorities Instrument. A brief section on values and ethics and conflicts of interest is also presented. Examples and exercises reinforce participants’ understanding and knowledge.

Learning Objectives

This training informs delegated cost center managers about financial signing authorities and how they are exercised in the expenditure management process, reinforces compliance with financial management legislation and policy instruments, standardizes financial management practices, and promotes effective management and safeguarding of financial resources.

All SSC employees at all levels who wish to better understand the delegation of financial signing authorities.
