Description
We all create, collect, use, and share information resources as part of our day-to-day work. Although most government information is open to the public, some information is considered sensitive and must be safeguarded to protect against improper use.
Objectives
This instructor-led training session provides participants with an overview of their responsibilities in protecting the information they create and how to use Permissions settings in GCdocs to ensure any sensitive information they create is appropriately safeguarded against unauthorized access. Topics covered include:
- Information Security basics
- What is sensitive information?
- What is the “The Need to Know Principle"?
- What is “Personal Information"?
- Using Permissions settings in GCdocs to secure sensitive information.
