Description

​This session is designed to raise awareness about the concept of respect at work and its positive contribution to a healthy and respectful workplace. Participants discuss the consequences of lack of respect/inappropriate behavior on organizational, physical, and psychological well-being. Participants learn to use simple and effective tools to intervene when faced with uncivil behaviors.

Objectives
​At the end of this session, participants should be able to:

• Define civility and incivility
• Understand the impacts on the workplace
• Recognize the difference between incivility and harassment
• Understand how to intervene when faced with uncivil behaviors
