Description

This course provides a foundational introduction to Character-Based Leadership (CBL). All employees can demonstrate character leadership, no matter the position they are in.

Character powers the quality of judgement, which impacts the choices you make and what you do. It is a “habit of being” that can be measured, practised and developed.

CBL is being implemented across SSC, through deliberate, evidence-based, and integrated initiatives. SSC aims to gradually embed character leadership in our culture.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

• Explain what character is and how it can support you and the organization;
• Summarize the Character Wheel (11 dimensions and their elements);
• Determine the dimensions you want to work on.

If you are a supervisor, manager or executive, please register for Introduction to Character Based Leadership (CBL) for Supervisors, Managers and Executives.

If the session overlaps with the lunch break (ET), we will have an extended break to ensure you have time to eat.
