This half-day workshop will focus on the following topics:

• What to expect as an executive:

o Issues and challenges in the federal public service

o Leadership challenges

o Findings from the APEX new executives survey

• A closer look at leadership (defining leadership, suitability, key leadership competencies)

• Strategies/resources for moving forward

This small group workshop (up to 20 people) will be facilitated by an executive consultant with Executive Counselling Services at the Personnel Psychology Centre (PPC).
