Description
Workplace inspections are an essential element of your health and safety program. This course will teach you how to effectively plan, conduct, and document workplace inspections. Learn about the types of inspections, as well as the roles of key participants: employers, supervisors, workers, and health and safety committees or representatives. You'll also learn the importance of inspection reports and follow-up.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize the roles of workers, employers, managers and supervisors, and health and safety committee or representatives in workplace inspections
- Recognize common components and good practices of workplace inspections using a five stages approach

This course is recommended for employers, managers, supervisors, and health and safety committee members or representatives, as well as anyone who is interested in learning about workplace inspections.

- Canada Labour Code, Part II: An Overview (WMT110)
- Preventing Harassment and Violence in the Workplace for Employees (WMT101)
- Preventing Harassment and Violence in the Workplace for Managers and Health and Safety Committees (WMT102)
