Join the CBL Centre of Expertise for an interactive session that highlights how character Based leadership (CBL) supports an ethical and values-based work environment.

During this session, we will reflect on how CBL shapes SSC’s organizational culture and strengthens our shared values. Together, we will discuss the impact that character has on upholding these values within the organization.

By building our individual character, we collectively strengthen the character of SSC.

Learning Objectives

Highlight how the principles of Character-Based Leadership (CBL) support an ethical and values-based work environment. 

Make the connection between personal values and workplace ethics through facilitated conversations.

This session addresses the need for “safe spaces” where public servants can seek advice, share thoughts and concerns without fear or reprisals.

Before the session, we recommend you complete:

• Character-Based Leadership for Employees or the Introduction to Character-Based Leadership for Supervisors, Managers, and Executives
• Reflection exercise: Team activity – Determining your values – Workplace strategies on mental health. Use the list to identify the values that are important to you and reflect on their importance in the context of your role.
