Description

This session will help equip SSC employees to take charge of their career journey. Participants will examine the current context and its impact, explore the fundamentals of career development and the roles of key players, and discover why career agility is essential for adaptability and growth. Through practical strategies and resources, participants will gain greater awareness of the importance of taking charge of their career with purpose, thereby building their confidence in an evolving workplace.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the current context of the public service;
  • Explore career development and the roles of key players;
  • Acknowledge the importance of career agility;
  • Identify strategies to take charge of their career journey.

Target Audience

While the content of this session is intended for non EX positions, participation is open to all employees.

This session is part of a three-part series presented by the Learning and Development team. The Career Support series is designed to provide employees with practical tools to manage their careers with agility, craft effective resumes and cover letters, and prepare for interviews.
