Description

Hostile actors target Canada and Canadian public servants to collect intelligence, recruit assets and access government networks.

Participants will learn what constitutes foreign interference and how it can impact you, your family, and your work.This course includes an instructor led presentation, built using guidance from CSIS and other sources, as well as a showing of the FBI Film titled “Betrayed.”

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Understand why you are an attractive target for foreign interference due to the nature of your work and recognize the associated risks;
• Identify hostile actors and the techniques they may use to target you; 
• Apply practical tips to mitigate these risks.
