Description

Our employees are our most valuable assets but what if our most important asset was also our biggest vulnerability? Insider threats have become one of the biggest risks we face, whether it be from witting or unwitting individuals. Using advice provided by Public Safety Canada and other sources, participants of this course will learn the difference between an insider risk and an insider threat as well as behavioral indicators to assist in recognizing these risks. This course also provides employees with guidance in your responsibilities for responding to these threats.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Enhance awareness of insider risks and understand their impact on organizational security;
• Recognize potential indicators of insider risks, whether unintentional or malicious;
• Respond appropriately and apply strategies to mitigate these risks.
